Private lessons - alexandria

Private lessons are offered in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop and musical theater and are scheduled on a space/time availability. Whether online or in one of our studios, our experienced instructors work with your child to provide a customized lesson that will focus on the mastery of dance fundamentals, individual expression and performance quality.

How to Register

  • Tuition for our private lessons is $45 online or $50 in the studio for each 30 minute session. Since each session is scheduled for one student and teacher, scheduling will be determined at the time of booking. Not all teachers are available for private lessons.

  • Please call 703-385-5580 or email info@tinydancers.com to schedule your private lesson

  • For virtual private lessons, once your session is booked, we’ll will send login information for Zoom. You don’t need to have previously downloaded Zoom to participate.

  • We'll notify you by email when your registration has been processed. In addition, you'll be given information about how to access the customer portal. Once set up with a user ID and password, you can use the portal for future registrations and to check, update, or change any student or contact information during the school year.

Policies

  • Lessons must be rescheduled more than 24 hours in advance. Changes to date and or time with less than 24 hours notice are subject to the late cancellation policy. 

  • Cancellations must be done by email more than 24 hours in advance. Private lessons late cancelled will incur a $25 late cancellation fee. 

  • No shows to a private lesson will be charged the full private lesson fee.

  • Late arrival to a private lesson will reduce the length of the private lesson, so that the end time and cost for the lesson remains the same. For example, if the private lesson is scheduled for 1:00-1:30pm and the dancer arrives at 1:10pm, the lesson will still end at 1:30pm.

  • Makeups are not offered for missed lessons. To reschedule, change, or cancel a private lesson an email must be sent to the studio manager.
